The 2 TON CV is the most cost effective in the market for tough high performance four wheeling. It can be used
as a daily driver with smooth performance at 35 degrees continuous with no problem and providing the highest torque rating in the
market..
The PERF CV has a solid .75 inch stud that slips into a 8000 RPM rated needle bearing housed in a ball bearing three times the
size of the spicer automotive type. The higher the angle the lower the torque rating of a CV. Higher torqued are required at higher
angles to compensate for the rated torque loss. The higher the angle the bigger the CV
that is used so that the remaining torque rating is acceptable under extreme conditions. Remember, more heat is generated when the
power and speed is redirected in another direction (angle) and that means that the parts are wearing faster. BIG is the answer to a high
angle.
The rest of the drive shaft of course will match your differential yoke or upgrades such as long travel
are available to meet your rigs expectations.

THE 45 DEGREES 2 TON DRIVE SHAFT IS YOUR ALTERNATIVE TO A DAILY DRIVER
HIGH PERFORMANCE DRIVE SHAFT.
Now at a two ton capacity to handle high angle to handle high continuous angle of operation - up to 35 degrees with a maximum
flex of 45. The CV contains a center needle bearing rated at 8,000 RPM with a torque rating of up to 3300 ft-lbs. Remember,
that the torque rating goes down by the cosine of the angle. So we start with a higher torque CV, hence
a bigger CV, so that at 30 degrees, the torque rating is still enough to handle high performance rigs.
A half ton 1310 stock CV is rated at 1600 ft-lbs and it will not perform at angles greater than 20 degrees.
