FORD SUPER DUTY REAR DRIVE SHAFTS
One piece to replace two pieces with CV for vehicles lifted 6 or more
inches. The drive shaft is for the purpose of removing vibration s due to
the lift.

This is the one-piece replacement length above 65 inches long not
recommended because the shaft becomes too heavy and hard to keep balance.

This is the stock two-piece to be replaced The
following is the CVs that are used with a custom two piece. The selected
CV is installed after the carrier bearing with a custom flange set-up.
1 TON FOR
LIFTS BELOW 8"
2 TON
PERF 45 DEGREES FOR LIFTS ABOVE 8". THE DRIVE SHAFT ABOVE IS USED AS THE
REAR PIECE

This same drive shaft and CV is used for the front and rear of Dodges,
Excursions, and Jeeps.
THE PREFERRED DESIGN WITH THE CARRIER BACK IN ITS FACTORY POSITION
Either one of these CVs are
incorporated after the Carrier for best results. The drive shaft is
modified with a flange after the carrier bearing and a drive shaft with it
own slip is incorporated as a rear piece. Never have we had any problems
removing the vibration and rumble symptoms that the customers call about.
The one piece is ok for drive shaft around 65" or less. One piece drive
shafts that exceed this length do not keep the balance well as they become
very heavy. SIZES,
THE 1-TON IS 4.5" FROM FLANGE TO WELD AND THE PERF 9"
This 1 TON CV or the PERF 1 /2 TON is installed after the
carrier. The PERF is used on lifts above 8" Or when the customer says
so since it is the preferred part on the Superdutys.
